قبل ما توصلBefore you land

  • رتّب سكناً مؤقتاً لأول أسبوعين إلى أربعة، وعاين السكن الدائم بنفسك قبل توقيع أي عقد.Book temporary housing for your first two to four weeks, and inspect any long term rental in person before signing.
  • لا تحوّل أي مبلغ لسكن ما شفته أو لشخص ما تعرفه، حتى لو العرض مغري.Never transfer money for a place you have not seen or to someone you do not know.
  • تأكد من تأمينك الصحي للطلاب (OSHC) لك ولأسرتك، واحفظ رقم البوليصة.Confirm your Overseas Student Health Cover for you and your family, and keep the policy number.
  • جهّز شهادات الأطفال وسجلات تطعيمهم للمدارس والحضانات.Bring your children's school records and vaccination history.
  • راسلنا قبل سفرك على الواتساب أو البريد، ونجاوب على أسئلتك.Message us on WhatsApp or email before you travel and we will answer your questions.

أول شهرYour first month

  • بطاقة myki للمواصلات العامة، وتشحنها من المحطات أو التطبيق.A myki card for public transport, topped up at stations or in the app.
  • شريحة جوال أسترالية، وحساب بنكي محلي.An Australian SIM card and a local bank account.
  • سجّل عند عيادة طبيب عام (GP) قريبة من سكنك.Register with a GP clinic near your home.
  • سجّل عضويتك في النادي واحضر أول فعالية، أسرع طريق تتعرف فيه على الناس.Join SSAM and come to your first event, the fastest way to meet people.

للأسر والأطفالFamilies and children

  • كثير من الأسر تسكن شمال ملبورن (Reservoir، Heidelberg، Preston) أو في الجنوب الشرقي حول Clayton، وفي الجهتين مساجد قريبة كثيرة.Many families live in the north (Reservoir, Heidelberg, Preston) or around Clayton in the south east, both close to many mosques.
  • المدارس الحكومية في فكتوريا حسب عنوان السكن، وتعرف مدرستك من findmyschool.vic.gov.au. أبناء طلاب المقررات يسجلون عبر طلب Dependant Application في study.vic.gov.au وعليهم رسوم، وأبناء طلاب البحث (الماجستير البحثي والدكتوراه) معفيون ويسجلون مباشرة في المدرسة. تأكد من الملحقية بخصوص تغطية الرسوم.Victorian government schools are zoned by address (findmyschool.vic.gov.au). Children of coursework students apply through the Dependant Application at study.vic.gov.au and pay fees. Children of research students (research master’s and PhD) are fee exempt and enrol directly with the school. Check fee coverage with SACM.
